Well here we are now three days overdue. I have been getting much more painful contractions the last two days so hopefully that is a sign. Last night they were pretty painful but only about 20 minutes apart so nothing major. When I went to sleep they weren't so bad that they woke me up so not sure how often they came throughout the night but I did wake up every two hours with a pain and the need to go to the bathroom. Today the pains have been kind of all over the place with frequency. This morning there wasn't much of anything, then about 10:30 I got a pain on my right side and then the regular pains started coming. I went to meet Michelle and her mom for lunch and got a spicy buffalo wrap and while at lunch and on my way home I was having pains about every 8 minutes. However now I am home and still getting pains but they are about 10-15 minutes apart at least. They say not to even bother with going to the hospital until you are having contractions that are 5 minutes apart for at least an hour. So I think we still have plenty of time before I will be going to the hospital. Maybe this weekend she will make her grand entrance?

Home Remedies don't work

I am now officially two days overdue. So yesterday my mother convinced me to try taking Castor Oil to see if that would work. Not sure why I agreed but I did and took about 2 ounces of the nasty stuff. Well it was the worst idea I have ever had. I was fighting not to throw up while trying to drink, it was one of the most disgusting things ever. About 1 hour after taking it I started to feel sick. I was sweating so bad my hair was wet and I was certain I was going to throw up. Finally the feeling passed and then the stomach ache started. I was completely miserable. Finally the feelings passed and I was feeling OK. I did start having some contractions but it was obviously not enough to cause me to go into labor and so not worth it. So here I am not two days overdue and everything is just fine. I have no contractions and I feel OK. A little dehydrated after yesterday but otherwise feel just fine, I am starting to worry now that I will have to be induced next week cause she just isn't coming. 

Late Arrival

I decided with all the people asking about baby all the time that maybe I would give this blogging thing a try. It's official, baby Fohrenkamm is late. She was scheduled to be here yesterday September 21st but here I am still pregnant. My last day of work was Friday September 17th which has helped me to be patient with her. It's not too bad hanging around the house and running errands on a weekday without a baby. So I will be patient with her since my pregnancy has been really pretty easy and now I am not working so I can't complain too much. I am not looking forward however to being induced as I have heard nothing but horror stories. After my Dr appointment yesterday it sounds like if she isn't here by next Wednesday they will induce me. So please baby come before next Wednesday. Today I don't have much for plans, thinking I will go for a walk before the rain comes and makes that impossible and then maybe some more cleaning or maybe I will just relax and watch a movie?
