Sick Kids

Well today is the 2nd day in a row that I have stayed home from work due to illnesses. I was not feeling well on Monday so I decided to not attempt the bad roads and stay home and get better. Throughout the day Jane got a little more and a little more sick herself. Which is what I was afraid of and why we left her home from the Fohrenkamm party on Friday. Well that didn't seem to do us any good cause even though I have kept her home and tried to keep her healthy she has her 1st ear infection. I can't help but think that it's convenient that 2 weeks ago she started daycare and now all of a sudden she has an ear infection. One of the issues I had with going back to work was Jane being in daycare and being sick all the time. I know it will just build her immune system but that doesn't make having a 5 month old sick baby any easier. So of course I am having doubts about if I should have gone back or not but I am not going to quit or anything, just feeling guilty that she is sick and also I feel guilty that I have been at my new job for two weeks and already I am calling in sick. Oh well right, I have a sick kid what can they expect. That's about all that's going on with us, a kid with an ear infection and parents with some other kind of bug, you can imagine the fun were having!
